Long videos in, short clips out
Hook Clipper turns a long podcast or interview into short vertical clips with captions, ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
How it works
- You upload a video you have the rights to use, or paste a link to the file.
- The audio is transcribed, and AI picks the moments with the strongest opening hook. Each video gets a score so weak videos can be skipped before any clips are made.
- Each moment is cut into a 9:16 clip with word-by-word captions.
- You choose which clips to post and where.
Posting to TikTok
You connect your own TikTok account with TikTok’s sign-in. Hook Clipper asks for two permissions: user.info.basic, to show which account is connected, and video.upload, to send the clips you pick to your TikTok inbox as drafts.
Hook Clipper never publishes to TikTok by itself. Each clip arrives in your TikTok inbox, and you add the caption, choose who can see it and post it from the TikTok app. You can disconnect at any time.
Posting to Instagram
Clips can also be posted as Reels to an Instagram professional account that the account owner has connected.
Who it is for
