Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Hook Clipper (clipper.hubsz.com) collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
- Videos and links you submit, and what is made from them: transcripts, scores, the moments picked, and the finished clips and caption files.
- Your TikTok connection, if you connect TikTok: your TikTok open ID, your display name, and the access and refresh tokens TikTok issues for the permissions you approve (user.info.basic and video.upload).
- Your Instagram connection, if it is set up: the Instagram professional account ID, its username, and the access token used to publish Reels.
- Posting records: which clip was sent where, when, the caption you wrote, and the post ID or link the platform returns.
- A sign-in cookie, used only to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To transcribe your videos, find hook moments, score them and render clips.
- To upload the clips you choose to your TikTok inbox as drafts, and to publish the Reels you choose to Instagram, only when you press the button to do so.
- To show you which accounts are connected and the status of each post.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or post anything you did not ask us to post. TikTok data is used only to provide these features.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run Hook Clipper:
- Cloudflare hosts the app and stores videos, clips and settings.
- Google (Gemini API) receives transcripts, or the link to a public YouTube video, to pick and score moments.
- TikTok receives the clips you send to your drafts.
- Meta (Instagram) receives the clips and captions you post as Reels.
How long we keep it
- Videos, transcripts, clips and posting records are kept until you delete the job. Deleting a job deletes all of its files.
- TikTok tokens are kept while TikTok is connected. When you disconnect, they are deleted and revoked with TikTok.
- Instagram details are kept until the account owner removes them.
Your choices
- Disconnect TikTok in the Posting panel at any time. You can also remove access in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy, Security, Manage app permissions.
- Delete any job and its files from the job list.
- Email estoreg.com@gmail.com to ask what data we hold about you or to have it deleted. We reply within 30 days.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS. Tokens are stored in private storage that is not publicly reachable. Links that let Instagram fetch a clip expire after one hour and work only for that clip.
Children
Hook Clipper is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
